Property Tax Revolution - If North Dakota can do it, why can't we?

On June 12, 2012, the voters of North Dakota will vote on Measure 2, a comprehensive state constitutional amendment that, if passed, will abolish the property tax once and for all in that state, such that property ownership, and not rental from the government, becomes their reality.

The video below discusses the North Dakota initiative, the problems it solves, and its benefits to their state. The parallels to the benefits of the elimination of the school property tax through HB 1776 and SB 1400 are striking even though this effort is being waged in an entirely different state. Pennsylvania, like North Dakota, has the opportunity to beocme an economic powerhouse through the elimination of the school property tax.
